A military Mi-28 helicopter crashed in Russia’s Kaluga region, tragically resulting in the death of the entire crew onboard.

The incident was attributed to a potential technical malfunction, as reported by the Russian defense ministry. The crash occurred in a forested area approximately 150 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, highlighting the geographical proximity to a conflict zone.

In a separate tragic event, a Saurya Airlines passenger plane crashed during takeoff at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal. The aircraft, en route to Pokhara, a major tourism hub, caught fire after skidding on the runway, resulting in the deaths of 18 out of 19 people aboard. The lone survivor, the pilot, was rescued from the flaming wreckage. Nepal’s military and police are conducting ongoing rescue operations, working to manage the aftermath of the disaster.
