A South African court has ordered the deportation of 14 women and 12 children from Mozambique after they were arrested for entering the country illegally. The group, along with 15 men, was apprehended on the N4 near Kaapmuiden on Friday.

The women and children, who were reportedly found without travel documentation, will be sent back to Mozambique. Meanwhile, the 15 men, including three drivers, were remanded following their court appearance on Monday and remain in custody.

The arrests highlight ongoing issues with illegal immigration in the region, with authorities continuing to crack down on undocumented entries into South Africa.
