Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has strongly advised Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to avoid making a transfer from Napoli to Chelsea this summer.
Ayodele, who is known for his prophetic declarations, warned that Osimhen “will not shine” at Chelsea, suggesting that such a move could severely damage his career. He further emphasized that the striker’s potential decline at Chelsea could have broader implications, urging the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to carefully reconsider calling him up to the national team if the transfer goes through.
According to Ayodele, “We have what it takes to win the World Cup and Nations Cup, but Osimhen’s move to Chelsea might jeopardize that vision.” This cautionary message was delivered in a video shared on ESPN’s X account, amplifying the gravity of his warning.
