Kwaghaondo Aondona Kingsley, one of the 20 abducted medical and dental students in Benue State, has issued a desperate plea from captivity, revealing the dire conditions they are facing.

In a tweet sent from the kidnappers’ den, Kingsley disclosed, “We were kidnapped on our way to Enugu for a convention. They are requesting 50 million naira for the 20 of us medical students. Please help us; we haven’t eaten for two days.”

He further warned that the kidnappers have threatened to start killing them if the ransom is not paid by tomorrow, stating, “They said they would start killing us tomorrow.” The students, from the University of Maiduguri and University of Jos, were ambushed by gunmen around 5:30 PM in the Otukpo area of Benue State.
