Pastor Abel Damina, the founder of Power City International Ministry, has openly disagreed with the popular slogan “What God Cannot Do Doesn’t Exist,” coined by Pastor Jerry Eze of Streams of Joy International.
He argued that the slogan is “not the truth.” Addressing speculations about jealousy, Pastor Damina said, “People think I am jealous of Jerry Eze. Jerry Eze is by far my junior in the ministry.” He also criticized the authenticity of some miracles performed by pastors today, stating, “I believe in miracles, I believe in healings, but not all these arranged miracles we are seeing today.” He questioned the legitimacy of certain crusades, noting, “Can’t you see most of those crutches are all the same colours and all brand new?”
Pastor Damina’s bold statements are expected to spark further discussions within religious circles, as he challenges the practices and claims of his fellow ministers. His remarks may also lead to a deeper examination of the authenticity of miracles presented in modern-day ministries.
