Human rights lawyer and activist, Dele Farotimi, has issued a stark warning about an impending revolution in Nigeria, describing it as a “perfect storm.”

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Farotimi criticized the nation’s poor leadership, stating, “There is a storm coming and it is a perfect storm. EndSARS was just a shower; this is the time to recognize the commonalities of our afflictions.” He urged Nigerians to unite against corrupt officials, emphasizing the need to be deliberate in their efforts to drive change. Farotimi further warned, “The difference between a revolution and anarchy is the plan for the day after the storm.”

He concluded by urging the public not to ignore the signs, as “there is a storm coming,” and only collective action can turn this upheaval into a positive transformation for the country. His message serves as a wake-up call for those complacent in the face of growing discontent, stressing that ignoring these warnings could lead to dire consequences.
