APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe, known for his support of President Bola Tinubu, has expressed frustration over Nigeria’s rising cost of living, specifically highlighting the steep increase in food prices. In a recent Facebook post, Igbokwe lamented the cost of a bag of rice now exceeding N100,000, questioning the country’s progress despite its numerous rice mills.
He remarked, “Without sounding immodest, I am constrained to say that the men and women that will rescue this country from self-inflicted pains and tears are not born yet.” Although Igbokwe has been a strong advocate for the current administration, he has recently voiced criticism regarding certain government policies.
