Nigerian House of Representatives, lawmakers reacted with shouts of “it’s okay, it’s okay” after social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, threatened to expose their secrets. This incident underscored the growing unrest over public accountability and transparency in government.

During an investigative hearing related to a bribery case involving crossdresser Bobrisky, VeryDarkMan voiced his frustrations, stating, “Nigeria is deteriorating, and people now have to be begged to do what’s right.”

He further criticized the judiciary as “so messed up,” highlighting concerns that essential government functions are failing. His remarks have sparked discussions about the integrity of public officials and the need for reform in Nigeria’s governance.
