The renowned expression coined by Nigerian musician Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has found its way into an examination query at the University of Uyo situated in Akwa Ibom State. The catchphrase in question, “No evidence, you go explain tire,” has gained significant popularity through Burna Boy’s influence.

Within the exam, this particular saying emerged as the fifth query, designated for the assessment of 400-level scholars enrolled in the Department of History and International Studies. The presence of this phrase on the test paper was revealed by an individual named Effiong G Victor, who shared an image of the question on the Facebook platform known as Yorochi Tv.

The specific question posed reads as follows: “In what manner does the prevalent catchphrase of Nigeria’s musical sensation, Burna Boy, ‘no evidence, you go explain tire,’ showcase the essence of history?” Burna Boy initially introduced the phrase during an Instagram live session with his fans. During this interaction, he articulated, “If you fail to achieve success, you’ll find yourself incessantly explaining your efforts. The necessity to explain will become overwhelming, all because the absence of evidence would indicate your lack of accomplishment.”
