Governor Alex Otti inaugurated a high-tech vehicle inspection center in Abia State, aiming to reduce accidents, boost revenue, and create jobs. Temple SYC collaborated with Otti’s administration on this initiative to make it a success. Commissioner for Transport, Sunny Onwuma, clarified that the scheme is targeted at promoting the use of vehicles that are safe and suitable for using on the road (road safety), and Segun Obayendo, Group MD of Temple SYC, welcomed the center’s opening, now part of 26 states in road safety efforts. The Commissioner insured that the ministry will work closely with the facilitators to raise a culture of safe driving within the state.
