During his official state visit to Zambia, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier urged German businesses to expand their investment interests in African countries, emphasizing the promising opportunities available in the continent’s markets. Speaking during the final leg of his African tour, Steinmeier highlighted Zambia as a prime example of a nation offering favorable investment conditions that are ripe for exploration and collaboration.

Steinmeier emphasized the need for German companies to redirect their focus and explore emerging markets, specifically highlighting the African continent.

Prior to his visit to Zambia, Steinmeier’s African tour included a stop in Tanzania, where he extended an official apology for the colonial atrocities perpetrated by German soldiers.
