Controversial Catholic priest Ejike Mbaka has voiced strong criticism against governors and national assembly members, suggesting they should also be subjected to the proposed N62,000 minimum wage.

Reacting to the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) strike, which was temporarily suspended for negotiations, Mbaka highlighted the disparity in earnings and warned of potential unrest if the wage issue is not addressed.

He emphasized the need for equitable compensation across all government officials to prevent further societal division and crisis.
