Mikah Suleiman, the parish priest of St. Raymond Catholic Church in Damba, Gusau, Zamfara state, has made a desperate plea for his release in a video circulating on social media.
Suleiman was kidnapped by bandits on June 22 from the rectory within the church premises. In the 51-second video, he appeals for assistance, highlighting the grave danger he faces if a ransom is not paid.
“I am pleading for help to be freed from this place… Please save my life in the name of God,” Suleiman begs, illustrating his dire situation by showing the ropes he was tied with.
