The Russian Defence Ministry reported that two unmanned Ukrainian drone boats, carrying explosives, were intercepted near the port city of Novorossiysk.

The boats were damaged at sea, with no immediate mention of further damage. The local authorities in Novorossiysk responded by closing streets and activating sirens.

This incident is part of ongoing tensions, with Ukraine increasingly targeting Russian territory to disrupt military supplies. The attacks in May saw 44 drones shot down in the same region. Despite these efforts, the impact on Russian territory remains minimal compared to the extensive damage and casualties suffered by Ukraine due to continuous Russian strikes.
