The Abia state government has commenced the process of capturing data for individuals with disabilities to ensure their inclusion in government programs.
Mrs. Priscilla Otti, the wife of the Abia State Governor, oversaw the data capturing process and also distributed essential items like rice and groundnut oil to over 2000 persons with disabilities.
The aim is to gather accurate data to better plan and include persons with disabilities in state governance and federal programs. This initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to inclusivity and addressing the needs of all citizens.
