Abia State Governor Alex Otti has stated that his administration will avoid confrontation with those organizing the May 30 sit-at-home in memory of civil war victims.
Speaking through his Special Adviser, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Otti emphasized the right to mourn and assured that the government is coordinating with schools to ensure WAEC exams proceed without disruption.
He stressed the importance of handling the situation with diplomacy and mentioned undisclosed measures being taken to maintain peace in the state.
