Tigran Gambaryan, a Binance executive facing trial in Nigeria, is reportedly in critical condition at Kuje Correctional Centre.
Aluko & Oyebode, his legal representatives, have urgently requested his transfer to Nizamiye Hospital for comprehensive medical treatment. The firm highlighted Gambaryan’s recent collapse due to malaria and throat infection, stressing that his condition could be fatal if not addressed promptly.
The plea underscores the unsuitability of the prison’s facilities, currently under renovation, to provide necessary care. The U.S. Consul Office in Abuja has also expressed concerns over the severity of Gambaryan’s health issues.
