Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, alongside Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and minister-without-portfolio Benny Gantz, announced that the Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, has been directed to assassinate top Hamas leaders globally.

Netanyahu stated that he instructed Mossad to target Hamas heads “wherever they are.” Gallant emphasized that Hamas leaders are targeted and living on borrowed time, condemning their actions against civilians. Gantz echoed this sentiment, vowing to eliminate those responsible for recent massacres, asserting there will be no safe havens for such individuals, emphasizing a global pursuit to eradicate those deemed responsible for violence against civilians. The list of Hamas leaders includes Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif, Marwan Issa, Saleh al-Arouri, and Khaled Mashaal.
