The U.S. has expressed concerns over the increasing diplomatic isolation of Israel, following recent decisions by Spain, Ireland, and Norway to officially recognize Palestine as a state.

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan highlighted this growing isolation during a White House briefing, indicating that it is worrisome for Israel’s long-term security and vitality. Additionally, the International Criminal Court’s decision to issue an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over actions in Gaza further complicates the situation. Sullivan emphasized ongoing discussions with the Israeli government to address these issues.
