Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has made a commitment to the people of Ghana, promising honesty and transparency if elected back into office.

Speaking at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign launch in Tamale on July 27, Mahama assured, “I will be truthful to you, I will never tell you lies.” He emphasized the need for hard work and national unity to tackle the country’s challenges, acknowledging the severity of the current situation: “It is not going to be easy. The more I look at the situation, it is even worse than what the government is telling us.”

Mahama called on all Ghanaians to join him in rebuilding the nation, stressing that collective effort is essential for progress. The former President’s remarks highlight his commitment to integrity and a transparent government, as he seeks to reset and restore Ghana’s fortunes.
