The Ministry of Mines, Petroleum, and Energy of Côte d’Ivoire will host the inaugural International Extractive and Energy Resources Exhibition (SIREXE 2024) from November 27 to December 2, 2024, in Abidjan.

The event, under the patronage of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé, will focus on sustainable development in the extractive and energy industries. It aims to foster collaboration and attract investments in Africa’s mining, petroleum, and energy sectors. Norway will be the guest country of honour.

The exhibition will also engage the public and highlight career and business opportunities for Ivorian youth and local entrepreneurs. The event aligns with President Alassane Ouattara’s vision to make Côte d’Ivoire an energy powerhouse while ensuring environmental protection. New oil and gas discoveries in the country are expected to boost its industrial potential.
