Fears of an all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah are rising as both sides have intensified their attacks. Following an Israeli airstrike on Friday that killed 45 people, including a top Hezbollah commander, in Beirut, Hezbollah launched over 100 rockets into northern Israel on Sunday.

The Israeli strike, which targeted an eight-story building, marked the deadliest incident since the 2006 conflict. Israeli officials have evacuated thousands of civilians to safer areas as Hezbollah’s attacks continue to render large parts of northern Israel unlivable.

Lebanese authorities confirmed that women and children were among the casualties, with 68 more wounded. Hezbollah’s actions are described as support for “the Hamas resistance in Gaza,” while Israel continues to respond forcefully. Both sides are bracing for a potential escalation, with widespread fear of further devastation.
