Renowned Kenyan gospel singer Mary Lincoln repented and sought prayers Monday in the face of extreme embarrassment caused by the leaking and going viral of her nude photos and videos online.
According to footage shared by local tabloids, Mary went to church in the company of several artists including Karangu wa Muraya who has also been trending online over allegations of taking someone’s wife–also a celebrity–for a holiday in Dubai.
“Yes, we went to the Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) Church for repentance and forgiveness prayer,” she shared on her Facebook page.
Late last week, nudes pictures and videos of the singer were leaked online shortly after a local blogger, Martha Mwihaki Hinga, hinted that a certain female celebrity had been living a hypocritical life and that she had been making money through trading personal obscene materials.
The blogger gave a clear description of Mary, leading Kikuyu vernacular singer without directly mentioning her name.
Martha claimed the singer was sending her nudes to a wealthy man who was to pay her Ksh35,000 rent at an apartment along Kiambu road.
The blogger wrote; “One very last one at noon I will be off for the rest of this year of the Lord 2022. Nothing stinks like hypocrisy in the images I got hold of. One of your favourite female musicians who resides at Nyawira Apartment along Kiambu road is seen entertaining an unidentified male, who is not the husband with a video call, naked like an animal in the bathroom. She is doing this for money 35,000 rent better explained as HOEING! I am doing this [with] zero remorse, I have never regretted exposing harlots who hide behind church. Kama ni wewe huyo wa dines kata miti sasa!
