Dealers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) reported that the Federal Government’s ban on LPG exports has led to a price drop from ₦1,500 per kilogram to ₦900.

The Nigerian Association of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers (NALPGAM) praised the intervention during a visit to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, noting that the cost for 20 metric tonnes of LPG fell from ₦20 million to ₦15 million. The price reduction has encouraged consumers to resume using LPG cylinders.
