The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Mountain Top Chorale has won a gold medal at the 2024 World Choir Games held in Auckland, New Zealand.
This prestigious event, known as the “Olympics of choral music,” featured over 11,000 singers from more than 30 countries. The MFM Chorale excelled in the Spiritual category, earning 83.38 points.
General Overseer Prof. Daniel Olukoya expressed his joy on Facebook, emphasizing the significance of representing Nigeria and showcasing indigenous music. He highlighted the choir’s performance as a testament to the richness of Nigerian culture and the global appeal of their compositions. The victory not only brings honor to the MFM community but also inspires other choirs in Nigeria to strive for excellence on the international stage.
