Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Saturday the conditions required to end the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu stated that Israel demands the complete destruction of Hamas’s military capabilities and the release of all Israeli hostages. According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, these terms are non-negotiable and must be met before any permanent ceasefire can be established.

“Israel’s conditions for ending the war have not changed: The destruction of Hamas military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel,” the statement read. “The notion that Israel will agree to a permanent ceasefire before these conditions are fulfilled is a non-starter.”

This declaration reaffirms Israel’s stance amid the ongoing conflict and sets clear expectations for any potential resolution.
