In his recent statement, Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 elections, reiterated his stance on blaming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Nigeria’s economic challenges.

Atiku urged Tinubu to emulate Argentina’s President Javier Milei in implementing reforms to restore investors’ confidence and stabilize the economy. Atiku criticized Tinubu’s administration for its ad hoc reforms and extravagant spending, contrasting it with Milei’s strategic approach to governance.

He emphasized the need for clear policies and leadership-led sacrifices to alleviate the country’s economic hardships, highlighting soaring inflation rates and the high cost of living as pressing.
