Former Central Bank Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, has been granted bail by Justice Hamza Muazu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja.

He secured bail for N300 million, requiring two sureties with property certificates within Maitama District. Emefiele must surrender travel documents, reside within Abuja, and remain in Kuje Correctional Centre until meeting bail terms. He faces six counts of procurement fraud linked to vehicle purchases. Trial starts on November 28 after the ruling on November 22.
