The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has named Augustine Eguavoen as the Interim Coach for the Super Eagles following the resignation of Jose Peseiro.
Peseiro, who led the team to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, confirmed his departure via social media. Eguavoen, a former Super Eagles coach, will lead the team temporarily until a permanent replacement is found. This appointment comes after Eguavoen previously served as interim manager during the 2021 AFCON.
