The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has strongly urged the Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to promptly address the current scarcity of Naira in the country.

The NLC criticized the government’s excuses for the shortage, emphasizing that Nigerians cannot endure further suffering due to cash scarcity, especially during the festive season. NLC President Joe Ajaero warned that prolonged inaction could lead to increased public discontent and emphasized the need for immediate measures to alleviate the cash crunch.
