Kanunta Kanu, brother of Nnamdi Kanu, has publicly criticized Southeast politicians following Sunday Igboho’s peaceful petition to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for the establishment of a Yoruba Nation.

He highlighted that Igboho’s approach was devoid of threats, contrasting sharply with the actions of some Southeast politicians, whom he accused of collaborating with the Nigerian Army and the DSS to abduct “Biafran youths” expressing similar aspirations.

In a post on X, he stated, “Sunday Igboho submits a petition to the UK Prime Minister… Meanwhile, Southeast politicians are busy kidnapping ‘Biafran youths’ in collusion with @HQNigerianArmy and @OfficialDSSNG.”

According to Naija News, Igboho’s petition was submitted on behalf of Prof. Adebanji Akintoye, leader of the Yoruba Nation movement, calling for urgent UK government intervention to support the establishment of a Yoruba state.
