Johnson Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has sadly passed away following a long-term illness.
The Nollywood icon’s demise comes just a day after another actor, Quadri Oyebamiji, also known as Sisi Quadri, passed away. Mr Ibu’s death was confirmed by Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, who expressed deep grief over the loss.
Colleagues and fans alike, including Mercy Johnson-Okojie and Peter of P-Square, have expressed their condolences. Mr Ibu is survived by his wife and children.
