Dr. Nsikak Akpan, a lecturer at Foreign Links College in Moro, Osun State, has embarked on a 150-hour marathon lecture in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest lecture ever given. The lecture, which began on Monday, September 23, 2024, focuses on the relationship between man’s environment and health.
Akpan disclosed that the session is being live-streamed for verification, ensuring transparency throughout the process. This bold initiative has gained widespread attention, with many praising his endurance and dedication to academia.
“This initiative has garnered significant attention,” he said, expressing his commitment to making history. As of this report, Akpan has already been lecturing for over six hours, with plans to continue for the full 150 hours, breaking new ground in educational perseverance.
