A 29-year-old man, Tayo Adeleke, is in custody of the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly defiling his neighbour’s 13-year-old daughter in the Monico area of Ogijo, Ogun State on October 9, 2023. The victim’s mother caught him in the act when she returned home late from work and noticed the lights were off. She turned on the light and found the suspect in the act. The suspect had recently completed his national youth service and had been accommodated by the victim’s family, who had been helping him. The case will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Abeokuta after preliminary investigations are completed, according to the State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola. #OMAGIST@AFRICAWORLDNEWS*
