Tragedy struck Ita-Ogbolu community in Ondo State as a fierce rainstorm, accompanying the year’s first downpour, wreaked havoc, leaving one person dead and more than 200 houses demolished.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, along with other officials, expressed shock and condolences to the affected families and pledged government support through the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

As the community begins to rebuild, emphasis is placed on preventive measures, with the governor urging residents to plant more trees to mitigate future disasters.
