Senator Ali Ndume, the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, has delivered a scathing critique of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, labeling it a “kakistocracy” rife with incompetence and corruption.

Speaking on Arise TV, Ndume criticized the government for prioritizing personal interests over national welfare, lamenting the high levels of food scarcity and inflation, and the president’s inaccessibility.

Ndume highlighted the challenges faced by ordinary Nigerians, noting the severe impact of inflation and food shortages. He also pointed out the limited access to the president, contrasting it with the more accessible leadership of former President Olusegun Obasanjo. The senator called for the president to appoint more competent individuals and implement policies that genuinely address the needs of the people.
