Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South under the Young Progressive Party (YPP), has switched to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The move, citing irreconcilable differences within the YPP, was conveyed through a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio. While the exact nature of these differences remains undisclosed, Ubah stated that his decision was made in the interest of his constituents. He had been the sole YPP member in the 10th Senate prior to joining the APC and secured a four-year term in Nigeria’s Senate during the February 25 general election. Ubah had faced a tragic attack in 2022 at Nkwọ Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area, resulting in the loss of several individuals, including his trusted personal assistant, a private photographer, and two security details. #OMAGIST@AFRICAWORLDNEWS*
