The University of Ibadan (UI) and the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have secured spots in the prestigious list of the top ten universities in Africa.

According to the latest Times Higher Education rankings, UI claimed the seventh position, while UNILAG secured the ninth spot on the continent.

The University of Cape Town leads the African rankings, followed by Stellenbosch University and the University of Witwatersrand. Globally, the University of Oxford retains its top position for the eighth consecutive year. The rankings, which include 1,799 universities, are based on extensive analysis of research publications and surveys from scholars worldwide. Here’s the full list of Africa’s top universities:
