Peter Obi, a former Labour Party presidential candidate, has criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for prioritizing minor cases like those against Bobrisky and Cubana Chief Priest over addressing significant corruption issues impacting Nigerians.

Speaking on Arise News TV, Obi argued that the EFCC should concentrate on major corruption cases such as budget padding, undisclosed subsidy payments, and inflated contracts, which have a more substantial effect on the country’s populace. He emphasized that diverting resources to prosecute minor offences wastes public funds and overlooks more pressing corruption concerns.
