U.S. President Biden maintained his belief that Chinese President Xi Jinping is effectively a dictator even after their recent summit.

Biden described Xi as a leader running a communist country with a government structure vastly different from the U.S. Despite the disagreement, the leaders engaged in extensive discussions aimed at repairing their strained relationship. During these talks, Xi reportedly conveyed to Biden that negative perceptions of the Communist Party in the U.S. were unwarranted.
