Tragedy struck as terrorists, following failed ransom negotiations, brutally murdered two abducted students from Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Okene, Kogi State.

Michael Anajuwe James and Musa Hussein were identified as the victims, their bodies discovered in a forest in Kwara State. Despite desperate pleas and efforts, including a reduced ransom offer, the state government’s sluggish response left the students at the mercy of their captors. The incident underscores the ongoing threat of terrorism and the urgent need for enhanced security measures.
