The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted the visa ban on Nigerian passport holders.

This announcement came from Nigeria’s Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, after a Federal Executive Council meeting chaired by President Bola Tinubu on Monday.

The Federal Government and UAE authorities have reached an agreement, allowing Nigerians to once again obtain visas for travel to the UAE. Minister Idris confirmed, “Nigeria has been discussing with the UAE over the ban on Nigerians traveling to that country, but today an agreement has been reached on that. Now Nigerian passport holders can be issued visas to travel to the United Arab Emirates.
