Renowned Nollywood actor, Yemi Adeyemi, affectionately known as ‘Suara’ due to his memorable role in one of Wale Adenuga’s iconic productions, Super Story, has passed away.

The sad news of his demise was confirmed by movie critic and writer, Dr. Shaibu Husseini, along with his grieving family on Monday.

Chief Adeyemi left this world on Sunday, September 24, 2023, according to official statements. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Suara in the popular ‘Oh Father, Oh Daughter’ series, which was a part of the immensely successful Super Story stories produced by Wale Adenuga Productions.

In a statement signed by the late actor’s son, Adedotun Adeyemi, it was expressed: “It is with heavy hearts and complete submission to God that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi (Suara), who peacefully departed to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2023.”

Adeyemi will forever be remembered for his partnership with veteran actress Sola Sobowale, who portrayed the role of Toyin Tomato in the Super Story series, creating cherished memories in the hearts of fans and the Nigerian entertainment industry. #OMAGIST@AFRICAWORLDNEWS*
