Kenya has joined the international chorus of condemnation following Iran’s attack on Israeli military bases. The move comes after Iran retaliated against an Israeli attack on an Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria.

Iran’s Foreign Minister defended the action, citing self-defense under the United Nations Charter. However, Kenya’s response emphasizes the need for restraint and diplomatic solutions to prevent further escalation of tensions in the region.

In a statement, Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto expressed deep concern over the attack, labeling it a threat to international peace and security.

He urged Israel to exercise utmost restraint and called on all parties involved to prioritize dialogue over conflict.

The situation remains tense as Israel vows that the confrontation is “not over yet,” while Iran claims its attack achieved its objectives.
