The Kogi State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja has summoned the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso, to appear before it regarding the bank’s involvement in the November 11, 2023 election in the state.
This comes after the CBN governor failed to honor a subpoena issued by the tribunal, prompting accusations of contempt.
