The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has sealed off the Abuja residence of former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello.

This action follows Bello’s meeting with President Bola Tinubu and is suspected to be related to the ongoing ₦84 billion fraud case against him.

The siege on Bello’s house at Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4, has halted movement in the area. The EFCC had previously filed charges against Bello, accusing him of diverting ₦80 billion of state funds before he took office.
