The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has proclaimed a sit-at-home directive across the Southeast, scheduled for May 30th.

This solemn act is intended to honor the memory of Biafran heroes who perished during the civil war from 1967 to 1970.

Emma Powerful, spokesperson for IPOB, has instructed the closure of all educational institutions, government offices, private establishments, banks, transport unions, market unions, and businesses, urging compliance from all sectors on Thursday.
