Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has expressed apprehension about appearing in court to address the 19-count charge filed against him by the EFCC.

Bello’s legal team represented him in court, citing concerns about a pending arrest order. They urged the court to revoke the order, arguing that the charges hadn’t been officially served to Bello as required by law.

The court approved the service of charges to Bello through his lawyer during the Tuesday session. Bello’s counsel emphasized the need to set aside the arrest order, stating that it shouldn’t hang over Bello’s head when leaving the court.
